Day 346 – A Taste of Asia

Oh, this scent is all too familiar.

The deceivingly inviting room of Asian cuisine.

Growing up a Filipina-American in a household that was successfully both Filipino and American, let me tell you.

This scent is all too familiar.

Plate, let me pile you high with culture. Kimchi, call your brothers Bulgolgi and Galbi. Sushi, invite the Miso Soup. Bun and Pho, come together with Boba. Lumpia and Pancit, give a slight pssst to Adobo. And Samosas and Curry, climb aboard the Naan.

Together, you represent a fine attempt at cultural fusion and diversity.
