Day 324 – Reconsider Her

Back home, they tease her for being defensive when she drinks.
She is.

But only for a good reason.

Did she mention she’s a bit more put together than you’d think?
Man, if you could see the way she handles each drink.

Emotions are intensified,
And passions are infused with greatness.
Running on delayed time

For no time is the wrong time,
Except now.

She has been tossed curve balls and fireballs
Ducked for cover when the worst was involved
But she does not hide.

See that girl by the bar?
Consider buying her a drink.
