Day 323 – Tourist Checklist

Disclaimer: You probably should not (but will) attempt to complete these.
Good luck.

Watch the sun rise (it’s the East Coast, after all)
Get up at a decent time
Lather up with more sunscreen
Eat leftovers for lunch (save money)
Grab a taxi for a whopping $14 to get to the mainland
Take a tour of a chocolate factory (even if you gave up sweets for Lent)
Walk down manicured roads
Browse used book shops for an hour with an anorexic wallet
Trudge a few miles back to the beach strip
Seek shelter in acclaimed winery
Consume alcohol (for free, go ahead)
Get lost using public transportation
Wind up in the worst neighborhood in town
Spend more on taxi fare to escape said neighborhood
Enjoy dinner at the Ocean Deck (I hear it’s nice)
Check out the night life if you can spare a minute
You about done yet?
