Day 274 – Instant Forgiveness

Forgive as soon as you hear the news,
For the burden of anger so sorely resonates.
Automatically, as if it is innate, forgive.
Hold not the grudge which straps grief to our backs,
Linger not on the thought of disappointment,
And do not welcome into the warmth of your sacred stores.
Do not tempt mistrust with another deceiving door.
Rather, stow away rage and replace with sympathies.
Listen, do not hear, and understand until it no longer stings.
As compassionate beings, we shall not hold betrayal as the single vice,
In lieu of such fervor, the power to forgive shall replace doubt.
