Day 265 – I Swear

Leave a comment

I followed your voice home;
Is it too selfish to hate being alone?
For if I must endure such physical pain,
I’d rather not wait in silence, in vain
I would suffer for you, a million times over,
I’d both cry your tears, and lend you my shoulder
I would chase your dangerous past light years away,
And I would carry you, as you’ve carried me today.
I know you’ve traversed down a more terrifying road;
But from now, I promise, I’ll help carry your load.
