Day 176 – Refuse

Tonight – I refuse
To write.

To write? To right
The wrongs

Or wrongly write
Letters or symbols

Hieroglyphic shit
Scribbles and script

Nah, we’ve tainted it
You’ve painted it

With aggressiveness –
Didn’t sign up for this?

Oh, excuse me
For overstepping my place

The boundaries
Have been unlaced

No invisible lines that bind
But barbed wire

Twisted into oblivion
Sharp bracelets that choke

Thin threads tied into
Banners overhead

Pointing left
And right

And right on time
I write:

This must be why
I hate to fight

  1. Very deep, twisted nature of wanting to be loosed maybe. I like how you build suspense in this one. 🙂

  2. Love you! Don’t give up!
