Until they awaken
Out of this slumber
Of shards of scrap metal
Ash covers the asphalt
And they are torn
Into pieces
That are so loud
You can’t even hear ‘em
So they shed the tears
Of poison and gas
For it’s toxic sadness
Disaster on blast
To return and pay homage
They travel far and wide
And after? They feel lost
Searching to hide
We apologize, home soil
Tender with the fallen
Despite the torn apart stories
It is Healing we are callin’
