Day 146 – On Reserve

This is blank
I have nothing to say
No images to portray
No events to replay
I was hoping to scream my own just rebuke
Honestly, my friend, there is no use

For I have never felt
Such an array of emotions
To the point where now I am numb
I feel nothing
I shout:
Nothing comes out
Has someone really stolen my voice?
Or is this shortage of faith a poor life choice?

Well just so you know,
Before you assume
I am equipped
Prepared for whatever you want to test me with
Go on,
Hit me with as much ammunition as you can
I know you’re prepared

I’m not naïve
I will give you the benefit of the doubt
But know if you cross me
I reserve the right to call you out
