Day 142 – Space to be Filled

In my defense
I am an empty canvas
Ready to be turned into a masterpiece
Pull out your watercolors
Your pastels
Practice them on me
Quickly rush to make mistakes
Depict the colors of trips and breaks
Wash them away
And when you’re ready
Use acrylic paint
Or even oil
They can be watered down
So thin them out
And give it another shot
Before they dry
And permanently seal me
Yes I am a blank canvas
But only for now
